Day 01 Arrive Mumbai
Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and assisted with your transfer to the hotel for check-in. Mumbai, originally an archipelago of seven islands, has a history dating back to the Stone Age. Over centuries, it has been shaped by the Mauryas, Gujaratis, Portuguese and the British, each leaving their cultural imprint on the city.

Day 02 Mumbai – Bangalore
Begin your day with a visit to the Gateway of India, built to commemorate the visit of King George V in 1911. Later, enjoy an hour-long boat ride to the serene Elephanta Island, home to magnificent cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, explore Jehangir Art Gallery, the Prince of Wales Museum, Victoria Terminus, Hanging Gardens, Jain Temple and Mani Bhavan – Mahatma Gandhi’s Mumbai residence, now a museum. In the evening, you will be transferred for your onward journey to Bangalore. On arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 03 Bangalore – Mysore (140 Km / 3 Hrs)
Enjoy a guided tour of Bangalore, including Tipu Sultan’s Palace, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Visit the ISKCON Temple, a blend of modern and traditional design, and continue to the historic Lal Bagh Garden, famous for its year-round blooms. Stop at Vidhana Soudha, an imposing structure built in Neo-Dravidian style. Later, drive to Mysore, renowned for its old-world charm, palaces, temples and grand boulevards.

Day 04 Mysore
Today, explore Srirangapatnam, the historic capital of Tipu Sultan. Visit Dariya Daulat Bagh (Tipu’s Summer Palace), known for its beautiful murals and scenic location. Continue to the grand Maharaja’s Palace (Amba Vilas Palace), an architectural masterpiece designed by Henry Irwin. Later visit Chamundi Hill, home to the revered Chamundeshwari Temple and a massive monolithic Nandi statue carved in 1659.

Day 05 Mysore – Hassan (150 Km / 3.5 Hrs)
Drive to Hassan, named after Goddess Hasanamba, the presiding deity of the region. Half-Day Tour:
Visit the magnificent Chennakeshava Temple at Belur, built in 1117 AD, renowned for its intricate carvings depicting stories from the epics. Continue to Hoysaleshwara Temple at Halebid, dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its richly detailed sculptures and twin sanctums.

Day 07 Hospet / Excursion to Hampi
Enjoy a full-day excursion to Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagar Empire, founded in 1336. Once a magnificent city of victory, it declined after the Battle of Talikota in 1565. Visit the Virupaksha Temple, still an active place of worship, with stunning murals adorning its ceilings. Explore Vittala Temple, famed for its 56 musical pillars and the exquisite Stone Chariot. Continue to the Elephant Stables, Queen’s Bath, and the elegant Lotus Mahal, noted for its beautiful arches and Indo-Islamic design.

Day 08 Hospet – Badami via Pattadakkal & Aihole (210 Km / 4 Hrs)
Drive to Badami, famed for its dramatic sandstone cliffs and ancient cave temples. En route, visit Pattadakkal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its grand temples of early Chalukyan architecture. Continue to Aihole, the “Cradle of Indian Architecture,” featuring over 100 temples including Lad Khan Temple and the Durga Temple.

Tour Badami, exploring its remarkable cave temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Jain traditions. Highlights include the impressive depiction of Shiva as Nataraja with eighteen arms and intricate carvings of Vishnu’s incarnations. Also visit the Jain Cave Temple and the star-shaped Mallikarjuna Temple.

Drive to Hubli, historically known as Elaya Puravada Halli and a major centre for trade during the Vijayanagar era.
