Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will receive a traditional ‘Swagat’ (welcome) and assistance for transfer to your hotel.
Delhi, India’s capital, is a vibrant blend of ancient heritage and modern development. Its strategic importance led many dynasties to establish their capitals here, leaving behind a legacy of monuments spanning several centuries. Mythologically, Delhi is associated with Indraprastha, the capital of the Pandavas mentioned in the Mahabharata.
Much of New Delhi was later planned in the early 20th century by Sir Edwin Lutyens, creating a striking contrast between the historic walled city and the imperial avenues of the capital.
