Day 01: Manali to Sarchu
Begin the journey to Ladakh via the scenic Manali–Leh Highway. Cross Rohtang Pass (3978 m), Keylong, and Baralacha La (4890 m). Arrive at Sarchu (4253 m), located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.
Day 02: Sarchu to Leh
Early morning drive towards Leh via Nakee La and Lachung La passes. Cross the vast More Plains and Tanglang La Pass (5329 m), one of the highest mountain passes in Ladakh. Descend into the Indus Valley and arrive in Leh.
Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Drive to Nubra Valley crossing Khardung La Pass (5359 m), among the highest motorable passes in the world. Enjoy panoramic views of the Karakoram and Zanskar ranges. Nubra Valley, also known as Ldumra, lies between the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges and is known for its unique landscapes.
Arrive at Hunder and check in. Evening walk through nearby villages to experience local Ladakhi life.
Day 04: Nubra Valley – Leh
Visit the sand dunes of Hunder, famous for Bactrian (double-humped) camels. Stop at Diskit, the administrative center of Nubra Valley, and visit Diskit Monastery, over 500 years old and dramatically located on a hilltop.
Return to Leh via Khardung La. Evening at leisure.
Day 05: Leh – Pangong Lake
Drive towards Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass (5360 m). En route visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most impressive monasteries in central Ladakh.
Arrive at Pangong Lake (4267 m), a high-altitude brackish lake stretching over 130 km, with a portion extending into China. The lake is famous for its changing shades of blue.
Day 06: Pangong Lake – Leh
Morning at leisure near the lake. Drive back to Leh via Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh and the main seat of the Drukpa lineage.
Day 07: Leh – Sham Valley Excursion
Drive along the Indus River on the Leh–Kargil Highway. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.
On the return, visit Spituk Monastery, a 15th-century Gelugpa monastery overlooking the Indus Valley. Evening free for shopping in Leh market.
Day 08: Depart Leh
Tour concludes. Transfer for onward journey with unforgettable memories of Ladakh.
