Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi by international flight. Upon arrival, receive a traditional ‘Swagat’ (welcome) and assistance at the airport, followed by transfer to the hotel for check-in. Later proceed for a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th-century walled city of Shahjahanabad, visiting Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, followed by a walk through Chandni Chowk, one of India’s oldest and busiest markets.
Post lunch, visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Drive past India Gate and President’s House. Continue sightseeing in New Delhi, including Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar.

Day 02: Delhi – Leh
Early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Leh – the land of endless discovery. On arrival, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for acclimatisation. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk around Leh town and visit the local market.

Day 03: Leh – Alchi – Uleytokpo (75 kms)
After breakfast, drive to Alchi Monastery, the only monastery in Ladakh built on flat ground. En route, visit Likir Monastery, perched on a hilltop overlooking the village. Continue to Uleytokpo, one of the most scenic camping sites in Ladakh. Evening at leisure by the riverbank.

Day 04: Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Leh (180 kms)
After breakfast, drive towards Lamayuru Monastery. En route pass through Khaltsi, known for its apricot orchards. Visit Lamayuru, one of the oldest and most dramatically located monasteries in Ladakh. Later drive back to Leh. Evening at leisure.

Day 05: Leh – Khardung La – Leh (85 kms)
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Khardung La Pass (approx. 5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped peaks before returning to Leh in the evening.

Day 06: Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh (290 kms)
Early morning departure with packed breakfast and lunch for Pangong Lake, crossing Chang La Pass (5,360 m). Enjoy breathtaking landscapes en route via Durbuk and Tangtse. Pangong Lake, a stunning high-altitude brackish lake, stretches over 130 kms, with a portion extending into Tibet. Spend time admiring its changing colours before returning to Leh by evening.

Day 07: Leh – Indus Valley Monasteries
After breakfast, proceed for the Indus Valley Monastery Tour. Visit Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, followed by Thiksey Monastery, known for its impressive Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest and richest monastery in Ladakh, founded in the 17th century. Later visit Stok Palace Museum, showcasing royal artefacts, thangkas and jewellery.
The annual Hemis Festival, held in July/August, features colourful masked dances dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava.

Day 08: Leh – Delhi
Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day at leisure after breakfast.

Optional Excursion to Agra (at extra cost)
Full-day excursion to Agra, visiting the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of eternal love, followed by Agra Fort and Sikandara, the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Return to Delhi in the evening.
Day 10: Delhi – Departure
