Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Delhi – Manali
Scenic drive to Manali. Check in at the hotel and relax.
Day 3: Manali
Sightseeing around Manali including major local attractions. Evening at leisure.
Day 4 & 5: Manali – Leh (Overland Journey)
A two-day journey along the iconic Manali–Leh Highway, one of the most spectacular high-altitude routes in the Himalayas, open seasonally from late June to October.
This legendary route crosses dramatic mountain passes and remote landscapes, offering rugged beauty and a true sense of adventure. Once restricted to civilians, the highway is now a favourite among nature and adventure enthusiasts.
Day 4
Cross Rohtang Pass (3,978 m), Keylong (3,350 m) and Baralacha La (4,890 m) before reaching Sarchu (4,253 m), located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Overnight in camps.
Day 5
Continue across Namika La and Lachulung La to Pang Valley, followed by the vast More Plains of Rupshu. Cross Tanglang La (5,415 m), one of Ladakh’s highest passes, and arrive in Leh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Leh – Indus Valley Monasteries
Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery with its towering Maitreya Buddha statue, and Hemis Monastery, Ladakh’s largest and most influential monastery. Continue to Stok Palace and Museum before returning to Leh.
Day 7: Leh – Likir – Yangthang
Drive to Likir village and visit Likir Monastery. Begin trekking through traditional villages and barley fields to reach Yangthang for overnight camping.
Day 8: Yangthang – Hemis Shukpachan
Trek via Wulle Valley and Shemchan La to Hemis Shukpachan, a picturesque village known for its cedar trees and traditional Ladakhi culture. Visit the village monastery and camp overnight.
Day 9: Hemis Shukpachan – Timosgam – Lamayuru
Trek through apricot-rich villages to Timosgam, known for its historic palace and monastery. Later drive to Lamayuru.
Lamayuru Monastery, founded in the 10th century, is one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh and is set amidst dramatic mountain scenery. Overnight in camps.
Day 10: Lamayuru – Alchi – Leh
Attend morning prayers at Lamayuru Monastery, then drive to Alchi Monastery, famous for its ancient murals and ground-level setting. Optional visit to Ridzong and Basgo monasteries before returning to Leh.
Day 11: Leh – Upshi – Tso Moriri (Korzok)
Drive through remote valleys and high-altitude landscapes to Korzok village (4,572 m), the only settlement near Tso Moriri Lake. Visit Korzok Monastery in the evening.
Day 12: Tso Moriri Lake
Day at leisure to explore the pristine Tso Moriri Lake, a high-altitude brackish lake sacred to locals and known for migratory birds and wildlife such as the Tibetan wild ass (Kiang).
Day 13: Tso Moriri – Tso Kar – Leh
Drive to Tso Kar Lake (4,485 m), also known as the White Lake due to its salt deposits. Rejoin the Manali–Leh Highway and cross Tanglang La en route to Leh.
Day 14: Leh – Delhi
Transfer to Delhi and check in at the hotel. Tour concludes.
