Safari to Tso Moriri & Pangong Tso Lakes + Monastery Tour
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrival in Delhi and hotel check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi – Manali
Drive to Manali through scenic Himalayan landscapes. Check-in on arrival.
Overnight in Manali.
Day 3: Manali
Day at leisure for local sightseeing and acclimatisation.
Overnight in Manali.
Day 4 & Day 5: Manali – Leh (Jeep Safari)
Two-day journey on the legendary Manali–Leh Highway, generally open from late June to early October, subject to weather conditions. This high-altitude route is known for dramatic landscapes, rugged terrain, and multiple mountain passes.
Day 4
Cross Rohtang Pass (approx. 3,978 m), Keylong, and Baralacha La (approx. 4,890 m). Continue to Sarchu (approx. 4,290 m), located on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.
Overnight in Sarchu.
Day 5
Drive across Nakee La and Lachulung La to Pang, followed by the vast More Plains of the Rupshu plateau. Ascend Tanglang La (approx. 5,328 m), one of the highest passes on the route, before descending into Leh.

Day 6: Leh
Indus Valley monastery tour covering Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, and Stok Palace Museum, showcasing Ladakh’s royal and spiritual heritage.

Day 7: Leh – Karu – Pangong Tso Lake
Drive to Pangong Tso via Chang La Pass (approx. 5,360 m). Reach the lakeshore near Lukung. Evening at leisure to enjoy the changing colours of the lake.
Overnight near Pangong Tso.
Pangong Tso lies at an altitude of around 4,225 m and stretches over 130 km, with approximately one-third of the lake in India and the remainder extending into China. The lake is known for its striking blue hues and surrounding mountain scenery.
Day 8: Pangong Tso Lake – Leh
Return to Leh by the same route via Chang La Pass.

Day 9: Leh – Likir – Alchi – Lamayuru
Visit Likir Monastery, followed by Alchi Monastery, renowned for its ancient murals. Optional visit to Ridzong Monastery before continuing to Lamayuru, dramatically set amid eroded mountains.
Overnight in Lamayuru.
Day 10: Lamayuru – Leh
Morning visit to Lamayuru Monastery. En route to Leh, visit Basgo Monastery, famous for its giant Buddha statues.

Day 11: Leh – Upshi – Tso Moriri (Korzok)
Drive through scenic valleys to Tso Moriri Lake. Reach Korzok village (approx. 4,572 m), the only permanent settlement near the lake. Evening visit to Korzok Monastery.

Day 12: Tso Moriri Lake
Day at leisure to explore the pristine high-altitude lake and surrounding wetlands, known for migratory birds and Tibetan wildlife.
Overnight near Tso Moriri.
Day 13: Tso Moriri – Tso Khar – Tanglang La – Leh
Drive to Tso Khar Lake (approx. 4,485 m), known for its salt deposits. Continue via Tanglang La Pass and return to Leh through scenic villages of the Indus Valley.
Overnight in Leh.
Day 14: Leh – Delhi
Tour concludes with unforgettable experiences of Ladakh’s landscapes, monasteries, and high-altitude lakes.
