Arrival in Leh and transfer to hotel. Afternoon free for acclimatisation and a walk through the local bazaar.

Excursion to Shey, Thiksey & Hemis
Indus Valley monastery tour starting with Shey Palace, the former capital of Ladakh, known for its large gilded statue of Buddha Shakyamuni. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, a prominent hilltop complex with a towering Maitreya Buddha statue. Visit Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Ladakh, associated with the annual Hemis Festival dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava.

Day 04: Leh – Pangong Lake (approx. 6 hrs)
Early departure to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass (approx. 5,360 m). Pangong Lake lies at an altitude of around 4,225 m and stretches over 130 km, with a portion extending into China. Enjoy the dramatic high-altitude landscape and changing colours of the lake.

Day 05: Pangong Lake – Leh (approx. 6 hrs)
Morning at leisure by the lake, followed by return drive to Leh.

Day 06: Leh (Excursion to Khardung La Pass)
Drive to Khardung La Pass (approx. 5,359 m), among the highest motorable passes in the world. Enjoy panoramic views before returning to Leh. Afternoon at leisure for local exploration.

Day 07: Leh – Alchi – Uleytokpo
Drive to Alchi Monastery, famous for its ancient murals, and visit Likir Monastery en route. Continue to Uleytokpo, a serene village along the Indus River known for its clear night skies.

Day 08: Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Kargil
Morning visit to Lamayuru Monastery, dramatically set amid eroded mountains. Continue via Mulbekh to Kargil.

Day 09: Kargil – Srinagar
Drive through scenic valleys via Sonmarg to Srinagar. Evening at leisure on the Dal Lake.

Half Day Tour – Mughal Gardens
Visit the famous Mughal Gardens including Shalimar Bagh, built by Emperor Jahangir in 1619, and Nishat Bagh, designed in 1634 by Asaf Khan, offering magnificent views of Dal Lake and the surrounding mountains. Evening free to explore local handicrafts and handloom centres.

Morning at leisure followed by return to Delhi. Check-in at hotel.
