Day 01: Arrive Leh
Arrival at Leh. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure to acclimatize, followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel.
Evening visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Leh (Excursion to Monasteries)
Post breakfast, visit Spituk Monastery, built in the 15th century during the reign of Grags 'bum-lde. This Gelug-pa monastery is built like a fortress on the summit of crags. Also visit the Hall of Fame, a museum constructed by the Indian Army. Post lunch, sightseeing includes Sankar Gompa (approx. 3 km from Leh) and Leh Palace, an architectural marvel reminiscent of Lhasa’s Potala Palace.
Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (120 km / 4-5 hrs)
Drive to Nubra Valley over Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the world at 5,602 m (18,390 ft). From the pass, enjoy panoramic views of the Indus Valley, Zanskar Range, and Saser massif. Nubra Valley, also known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers, is located between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges. Check in at your camp/hotel in Hunder. Evening walk in the villages or a visit to a Ladakhi home. Dinner & overnight at the camp.
Day 04: Nubra Valley – Leh (120 km / 4-5 hrs)
Early breakfast and check-out. In Hunder, enjoy a ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel amidst sand dunes, set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Stop at Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley, famous for its 515-year-old monastery. Return to Leh via Khardung La Top. Afternoon at leisure in Leh.
Overnight Hotel – Leh
Day 05: Leh – Pangong Lake (140 km / 4-5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake. En route, visit Shey Palace (ancient capital of Ladakh) and Thiksey Monastery, an impressive hilltop complex. Continue via Changla Pass (5,486 m), with a stop at Tangtse village for tea. Arrive at Pangong Lake, the famous high-altitude blue brackish lake (approx. 14,000 ft / 4,267 m). Check in at your camp near the lake. Dinner & overnight at the camp.
Day 06: Pangong Lake – Leh (140 km / 6 hrs)
Morning at leisure to explore the lake. Return to Leh, visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of the Drukpa Kagyu Order. Check in at hotel. Evening free for market stroll or souvenir shopping.
Overnight Hotel – Leh
Day 07: Leh – Sham Valley (92 km / 4 hrs)
Drive along the Indus River on the Leh-Kargil Highway. Visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Visit Likir Monastery, known for its colossal gilded Maitreya Buddha. Continue to Uletokpo or Tingmosgang, with optional walk up to Ridzong Monastery. Overnight at camp/hotel.
Day 08: Tingmosgang – Kargil via Lamayuru (143 km / 5 hrs)
Drive to Kargil, visiting 11th-century Lamayuru Monastery and the unique Moon Landscapes. Continue via Fatu-la Pass (13,489 ft), the highest on Srinagar-Leh road. Check in at hotel in Kargil.

Day 09: Kargil – Srinagar
Early morning drive to Srinagar via Drass, the second coldest inhabited place on Earth. Enjoy views of Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak from the Kargil War. Pay respects at Vijay Smarak, dedicated to Indian soldiers. Arrive Srinagar in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.
Overnight Houseboat – Srinagar
Day 10: Srinagar (Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens)
Sightseeing in Srinagar, visiting Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh. Overnight at houseboat.
Day 11: Depart Srinagar
Tour concludes. Transfer to airport for onward journey.
