The Kullu Valley, known as the 'Valley of the Gods,' has enchanted explorers for ages. Manali, at the head of the valley, serves as a base for further exploration into the Himalayas. A popular tourist destination, Manali lies on the banks of the Beas River and is surrounded by deodar (Himalayan cedar) forests. The trek begins here, crossing the Hamta Pass, following the headwaters of the Chandra River in Lahaul, and exploring the lower portion of the Bara Shigri Glacier.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi by international flight. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome), our representative will assist you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After some rest, enjoy breakfast at the hotel coffee shop. The guided city tour includes Red Fort (1648), Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat, drive past India Gate and President's House, and visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi – Nalagarh (300 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nalagarh, stopping en route for lunch (self-paid) and, if time permits, visit Rock Garden, Pinjore Gardens, and Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh. Continue to Nalagarh Fort for dinner and overnight stay.

Nalagarh, capital of the Kingdom of Hindur, was founded by Raja Ajai Chand in 1100 A.D. Ruled by the Chandela Rajputs of Central India, the area is historically significant, with the famous Khajuraho temples built by the Chandelas. The fort, built in 1421 by Raja Bikram Chand, sits on a hillock at the foothills and serves as a gateway to Himachal Pradesh.

Day 03: Nalagarh – Manali (245 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 08:00 hrs for Manali. Arrive by 14:00 hrs, then explore surrounding forests with blooming mountain flowers. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the scenic beauty of pine-covered slopes, panoramic vistas, and the Beas River. Visit Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery, Hadimba Devi Temple, and Tibetan Monastery. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Mayflower.

Day 04: Manali – Prini – Bhujdhar (6 hrs trek)
Post-breakfast, transfer by road from Manali to Prini with packed lunch. The trek begins at Prini (6,400 ft), passing the village of Prini and the Lord Jumla temple. The route climbs steeply to the summer village of Satan, then through fir and spruce forests to the alpine meadow of Bhujdhar (11,000 ft). Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 05: Bhujdhar – Juara (6 hrs trek)
Breakfast at camp, then trek through the river valley towards Hampta Pass. Pass Jobri Nala, sourced from Deo Tibba peak, for packed lunch. Continue to the wide meadow of Chikkha (10,000 ft), then climb to Juara campsite (11,800 ft). Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 06: Juara – Base of Hampta Pass (5 hrs trek)
After breakfast, trek along the Hampta stream to the base of the pass (13,200 ft.), enjoying views of hanging glaciers. Dinner and overnight in camps.

Day 07: Base of Hampta Pass – Garu (5 hrs trek)
Cross Hampta Pass with breathtaking views of the Mulkila Range, Indrasan (21,000 ft.), and Deo Tibba (20,100 ft.). Descend through the moonscape valley of Lahaul, crossing glacial boulders along the northern Hampta stream to Garu campsite (12,200 ft.). Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 08: Garu – Chatru (2½ hrs trek) – Manali
Trek to the confluence of the Hampta stream and Chandra River, reaching the roadhead at Chatru (10,900 ft.) for lunch. Transfer by road to Manali (7 hrs) via Rohtang Pass (13,600 ft.). Check in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09: Manali
Day at leisure in Manali. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Manali – Delhi (570 km / 12-13 hrs)
After breakfast and leisure time, depart for Delhi at 18:00 hrs. Dinner en route. Overnight journey.

Day 11: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi at 06:30 hrs. Transfer to the hotel. After breakfast and leisure, attend the evening Light and Sound Show at Red Fort. Return to hotel for farewell dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Depart Delhi
Tour concludes. Caper thanks you for your patronage and ensures a punctual transfer to the international airport for onward travel.
