
Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park is located in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan, at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill ranges. It is one of the finest places to observe wildlife, as animals here are accustomed to human presence. The park covers approximately 400 sq km, and when combined with the Sawai Man Singh sanctuary area, the total area is around 500 sq km. Ranthambore is dotted with historical structures and numerous water bodies that provide relief during the hot summer months. The park is dominated by a massive fort, after which it is named, and several ruins scattered throughout, offering a unique blend of nature, history, and wildlife. Tigers here are known for daytime sightings, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. The park is open from October to May, offering excellent accommodation and internal transportation facilities.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi International Airport in the morning. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Explore the historical city of Delhi, visiting Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, President House, Parliament, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid. In the evening, stroll through Connaught Place for shopping and handicrafts.

Day 02: Delhi - Jaipur (262 km - 5 hr)
After morning sightseeing in Delhi, drive to Jaipur, the Pink City, founded in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is famous for its rich heritage and vibrant culture.
Optional - Chokhi Dhani: Evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort 15 km from Jaipur, offering folk dance and music performances.

Day 03: Jaipur
Full Day Tour: Visit Amber Fort via an elephant ride, explore the City Palace, Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds, 1799), a five-story pink sandstone structure with 593 windows.

Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore (145 km - 3 hr)
Drive to Ranthambore National Park, bounded by Banas River in the north and Chambal River in the south. The park, established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955, became a Project Tiger reserve in 1973 and a National Park in 1980. Ranthambore is famous for its tiger population and diverse wildlife including leopards, Nilgai, dhole, wild pig, sambar, chital, and gaur.

Day 05: Ranthambore
Morning Jeep Safari in Ranthambore National Park. Later, visit Ranthambore Fort, founded in 944 by the Chauhan Rajputs, and historically significant under various rulers including the Mughals and Jaipur Maharajas.

Day 06: Ranthambore - Bharatpur (255 km - 5 hr)
Drive to Bharatpur and visit Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for over 364 bird species including Siberian Cranes.

Day 07: Bharatpur - Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (55 km - 2 hr)
Drive to Agra, visiting Fatehpur Sikri (1571–1585), including Emperor Akbar's residential complex, mosque, and Tomb of Salim Chisti. Continue to Agra and visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, all UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 08: Agra - Delhi via Sikandra (220 km - 5 hr)
Visit Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. Drive to Delhi for a city tour including Raj Ghat, India Gate, President's House, Humayun's Tomb, and Qutub Minar.
