Day 01: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive by international flight. After a traditional ‘Swagat’ (welcome), our representative will assist you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for check-in.
Delhi is a vibrant metropolis that seamlessly blends ancient heritage with modern life. Its strategic location made it the seat of power for several dynasties. The legendary city of Indraprastha, mentioned in the Mahabharata, is believed to have existed here. Over centuries, rulers such as Qutub-ud-din Aibak, Alauddin Khilji, the Tughlaqs, Humayun and Shah Jahan left behind magnificent monuments, including the walled city of Shah Jahanabad.
In the early 20th century, Sir Edwin Lutyens designed much of New Delhi as a grand administrative capital for British India. The contrast between Old and New Delhi reflects distinct lifestyles and architectural styles.
