Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati
Upon arrival in Guwahati, you will be greeted with a traditional ‘Swagat’ (welcome). Our representative will assist you with the transfer to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple – Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites in India. During the Ambubachi Festival, this sacred shrine attracts millions of devotees. After offering prayers to Goddess Kamakhya, drive to Cherrapunjee (approx. 170 km), one of the wettest places on earth. En route, stop at the scenic Borapani (Umiam) Lake, a tranquil reservoir surrounded by forested hills. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 03: Cherrapunjee – Krem Mawmluh Cave & Waterfalls
Explore Krem Mawmluh Cave, located about half a kilometre west of Cherrapunjee near Mawmluh village. The cave system features impressive river passages and extends for several kilometres, making it one of the longest caves in the region. Later, visit the spectacular waterfalls of Cherrapunjee, including the iconic Nohkalikai Falls and the Living Root Bridges. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 04: Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
After an early breakfast, walk to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge—an extraordinary example of indigenous Khasi engineering, created by training the roots of rubber fig trees across streams. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the site before returning to Cherrapunjee. Spend the evening admiring panoramic views of the Khasi Hills and the plains of Bangladesh. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 05: Cherrapunjee – Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Shillong, often referred to as the ‘Scotland of the East’. En route, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for sweeping views of the city and surrounding hills. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 06: Shillong Sightseeing
Morning sightseeing tour of Shillong, once the capital of undivided Assam and home to the Khasi community. Explore the city’s colonial charm, scenic viewpoints, and local markets. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 07: Shillong – Kaziranga National Park (280 km / approx. 5 hrs)
Early morning drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its population of the one-horned rhinoceros. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari inside the park. Overnight stay near Kaziranga.

Day 08: Kaziranga – Elephant & Jeep Safari
Early morning elephant safari in the central range of Kaziranga for close encounters with one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife. After lunch, proceed for another jeep safari. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the tourist lodge.

Day 09: Kaziranga – Kohima – Touphema
After breakfast, drive to Kohima (approx. 225 km). After lunch in Kohima, continue to Touphema Village Resort (about 41 km), managed by the Angami Naga community and offering an authentic village experience. Overnight stay at Touphema Village.

Day 10: Touphema – Kohima – Hornbill Festival
After breakfast, drive to Kohima to attend the Hornbill Festival (held annually from 1st to 5th December), a vibrant celebration of Naga culture, cuisine, handlooms, handicrafts, folk dances, and music. After lunch, visit the World War II Cemetery, commemorating the soldiers of the Battle of Kohima. Later, explore the State Museum to learn about Naga heritage. Continue to Kipfiizha (Kigwema village) and check in at Dimori Cove Guest House.

Day 11: Kipfiizha – Dziikou Valley Trek
Morning drive to the starting point of Dziikou Valley via Jakhama village. From the road head, begin a trek of approximately four hours to reach the valley (approx. 2,438 m), located on the southwestern slopes of the Japfu Range. Known for its rolling meadows, dwarf bamboo, clear streams, and seasonal rhododendrons, Dziikou Valley is a paradise for nature lovers and trekkers.

Overnight stay in rest house, rock caves, or tents.

Day 12: Dziikou Valley – Kipfiizha
Morning exploration of Dziikou Valley, regarded as one of the finest trekking destinations in Northeast India. After lunch, trek back and return to Dimori Cove. Later, visit the Hornbill Festival grounds. Overnight stay at Dimori Cove.

Day 13: Kohima – Khonoma
After breakfast, drive to Khonoma (approx. 20 km), an Angami tribal village known for its rich heritage and historical significance, including the last Anglo-Naga battle. Return to Kohima for an overnight stay.

Day 14: Kohima – Jorhat
Early morning drive to Jorhat (approx. 200 km), known as the tea capital of Assam. On arrival, check in at the historic Thengal Mansion, an ancestral home of tea planters. After lunch, enjoy a guided village walk to experience rural Assamese life. Overnight stay in Jorhat.

Day 15: Jorhat – Dirang
Early departure with a packed breakfast. Drive through scenic tea estates to Bhalukpung (approx. 130 km). After completing entry formalities and lunch, enter Arunachal Pradesh. Continue along winding mountain roads following the Bhoroli River to Tipi to visit the Orchid Research Centre, home to thousands of orchid species. Proceed to Dirang (approx. 130 km) and check in.

Day 16: Dirang – Bomdila – Sela Pass
Visit the upper and lower Gompas at Bomdila. After breakfast, drive towards the high-altitude Sela Pass (13,703 ft). En route, visit Dirang Basti, a traditional Monpa village known for its stone houses and terraced fields. Enjoy panoramic views of Dirang town and river. Camp overnight near Sela Pass.

Day 17: Sela – Chabrilla (13,000 ft) – Trek
After breakfast, begin the trek to Chabrilla with packed lunch. The trek takes approximately five hours through high-altitude terrain. Arrive at the campsite and overnight stay in tents.

Day 18: Chabrilla – Nurarang – Tawang
Trek to Nurarang with packed lunch. From Nurarang, drive to Tawang, the land of the Monpa people. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 19: Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the 17th-century Tawang Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in India, dramatically perched on a hilltop. Also visit the Ani Gompa (nunnery) and Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. In the evening, enjoy cultural performances by Monpa tribes and local lamas. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 20: Tawang – Dirang
Early morning drive to Jang to witness the magnificent waterfall. Continue the journey to Dirang (approx. 150 km), stopping at Sela Top (approx. 14,000 ft) for breathtaking views. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 21: Sangti Valley – Camping & Trek
Proceed for trekking and camping in the picturesque Sangti Valley, known for its alpine meadows and pristine landscapes. Overnight camping in the hills.

Day 22: Sangti Valley – Dirang
Morning trek in the valley with chances to spot the rare black-necked cranes (seasonal). Return to Dirang Resort for rest and refreshments. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 23: Dirang – Bhalukpung – Nameri
Early morning drive to Bhalukpung (approx. 130 km) with packed breakfast. After lunch, enjoy rafting on the Jia Bhoreli River near Nameri National Park. Overnight stay at Nameri.

Day 24: Nameri – Guwahati
Early morning nature walk along the Tiger Trail inside Nameri National Park. After breakfast, enjoy another rafting session and an elephant ride. Drive to Guwahati after a picnic lunch. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 25: Guwahati
Explore Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India, including the riverfront of the mighty Brahmaputra. In the evening, enjoy a river cruise while watching the sunset over the waters of the ‘Luit.’

Day 26: Guwahati Sightseeing
Local sightseeing in and around Guwahati, covering major attractions and markets.

Day 27: Departure
